Vibrant & Romantic Winter Wedding InspirationLIVE VIEW STUDIOS
Whilst Spring is just around the corner for many of you, here in New Zealand Winter is coming. And, if I hadn’t already long thought it the most romantic season to get married, today’s shoot would certainly have convinced me! In a vibrant palette of blue, gold and rich warm shades of red and orange, it is proof that Winter weddings can be every bit as colorful and beautiful as Summer or Fall. In fact against the bare trees and cool skies, the colors just pop all the more…..
I can’t wait to share every beautiful detail with you! But first, a few words from Brent of Live View Studios by way of an introduction to the shoot and the inspiration behind it…”The barren, neutral backdrop of winter in the mountains was the canvas for this warm and vibrant wedding inspiration. Drawing from the natural terrain and simple living in the mountains, a wood table and mismatched chairs were set for dining with a dusty blue silk runner spilling over from the tabletop, mimicking cascading waterfalls and rushing mountain streams.
Fire, in the form of candlelight, brings romance and also inspires the bold color palette. Touches of gold, from the candlesticks to the gold goblets at each place setting, invoke elegance and tie in with the natural tones from the hops used in the floral centerpieces and bouquet. Velvet and silk ribbons fall gracefully from the bride’s lush bouquet. The cake with it’s delicately torn edging pairs perfectly with the handmade paper from the invitation suite, and is embellished with fresh blooms and fruit.
Our bride is gorgeous in a lace and chiffon Sarah Seven dress adorned with a gold and silk belt and dripping crystal and gold earrings designed by Lindsay Marie. Her beautifully braided hair is accentuated with a gold and crystal headpiece, and like the fog that rises and shrouds the mountains, her stunning veil wraps and pools around her and her lover as they embrace.”
Isn’t it just heavenly? As always a huge thankyou to the whole creative team behind this Winter vision, and especially to Anna & Brent of Live View Studios for photographing every detail so flawlessly and for allowing me to share it with you here. To see more of their fine art photography take a peek at this romantic blue & blush inspiration, this Autumn woodland wedding shoot, and this equally elegant Winter inspiration. And if you love their wonderful work as much as I do be sure to make their website your next stop – you will find them over at liveviewstudios.com, and you can also follow them on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Pinterest for daily inspiration.
Or if blue has you swooning and you missed Wednesday’s post, you will definitely want to take a peek at it because it was the most stunning snowy wedding inspiration. If you’re not planning a Winter wedding though, this heavenly serenity and rose quartz shoot may be more to your taste. Or if it is color palette inspiration in particular you are after, this colour palette inspired by the grey blues of the rooftops in Paris is gorgeous wherever you’re planning to say I Do, or for a Summer wedding this sea, sand and pearls inspiration board couldn’t be any more perfect!
