Aquamarine Elegance – Romantic Spring Wedding Inspiration in Aquamarine Blue & Elegant Neutrals
We are continuing the Aquamarine theme here on Chic Vintage Brides, in celebration of March (and Aquamarine being March’s birthstone), with today’s inspiration board a lavish and super sweet take on the shade. Full of delicate sky blues, elegant neutrals and splashes of gold, it exudes an understated glamour and timeless sophistication – and would be quite simply perfect for a Spring wedding!

Of course for a Spring celebration you want an abundance of seasonal blooms – think fragrant freesias, peonies, anemones and camellias; and I love the chic simplicity of keeping them pure white!
This palette would be just as lovely for a rustic, modern or boho wedding, but add a modern take on vintage with olde world design details such as hand calligraphy stationery, sumptuous tablescapes & place settings with candelabras and candlesticks (wherever your venue), vintage books and trays. The refined wedding cake keeps things contemporary and manages to exude a hint of opulence despite its lack of decoration, thanks to its elegant proportions, a trend we have been seeing for a while now, and that I for one love.
If you love the idea of a Spring affair but aren’t convinced by this colour palette you will find plenty of other wedding colours and inspiration boards in CVB’s archives. Like this romance-fest in rose quartz and serenity blue, or how embrace the color of the year and one of the biggest trend’s for 2017 with this elegant greenery inspiration board, or for an alternative to the traditional pretty pastels this beautiful jewel inspired palette is rich and oh-so-sophisticated!
