Whilst rich reds and dusky neutrals are more often considered Autumnal shades, I wanted to show just how lovely they can look for a sultry Summer wedding! As well as evoking luxury with their depth, these reds are oh so romantic, and when combined with warm greys or cool browns, surprisingly not too feminine.

With a timeless elegance, and just a hint of rustic charm, this is a contemporary take on vintage that will never go out of fashion. Keep styling and decor cohesive but simple, with lots of neutrals and just pops of red. Mix of textures too for some extra wow – velvet always looks so luxurious and adds an air of vintage to any outfit (I LOVE those velvet heels!), whilst textured icing will make even the most simple cake unforgettable.

Introduce your color scheme to your table through some lush floral centerpieces and layer on the romance and old world elegance with antique candlesticks and candelabras that will light your celebration as the late Summer sun sets. Soften the farmhouse style table with some light and airy silk chiffon table runners, and you can always provide your guests with blankets or shawls in case the temperature should start to drop.
