Today’s wedding inspiration shoot abounds with the most beautiful florals (it really is a botanical bomb) and all in the prettiest summer shades of Summer yellow, blush and orange. Whilst the simple details and slightly industrial setting provides the perfect backdrop for them to really shine….

A few words from florist extraordinaire Ida of Butik Botanik about what inspired her and the creative team…. “We wanted to do a styled shoot with a different colour theme then the ones we often see. Something that was fresh, fun and bright! And at the same time we wanted it to feel effortless, just a simple setting and let the colours speak for themselves.

For the table setting we wanted the flowers to feel delicate yet colourful and fun. We used a base of brass vases and pots and then just filled them up with spring blooms such as french tulips, spirea, ranunculus, different kinds of daffodils and so on, all in bright peach/yellow/orange tones. We also used a bunch of lemons placed along the table just to give it that extra fresh touch. We wanted the same feeling in the bridal bouquet. 

We also did a “landscaping” with big flowering branches and all sorts of colourful flowers. We didn’t use any oasis at all but we had chicken wire filled pots which we covered with moss and foliage. We wanted the couple to just be enveloped by this forest of spring flowers.☺️ “
