Whilst this elegant affair gets its old world romance from its wintery dusky hues, I actually had Summer (a season that we typically associate with brighter colors) in mind when I created it. I just love an unexpected color palette! And in this case I think the watery hues give this Summer celebration a timeless sophistication.
The key to keeping this look Summery is in the abundance of fresh flowers! Whether your wedding is taking place indoors or out, think greenery adorned altars (even if it’s a fireplace!), cascading or lush ‘just picked’ bouquets, floral hairpieces for the bride and bridesmaids, trailing table centerpieces, and even a wreath or garland for whatever you choose to make your getaway in. Make them seasonal blooms and a heady scent will leave a lasting memory on you and your guests!
Utterly timeless and oh-so-chic don’t you think? If it’s not for you though you will find lots more romantic wedding colours and inspiration boards in Chic Vintage Brides’ archives ! Like this elegant southern inspired board in dusky greens, and this Summer affair in the softest shades of blush, or this ethereal beauty in on trend neutrals. Oh and this beach wedding color palette is one of my all time favourites!
