Love Blossoms – Garden Wedding Inspiration in a Pretty Palette of Pinks & Dusky Blue

Nothing says Spring quite like the sight (and scent) of blossom-filled trees. And it was the soft shades of those delicate blooms that inspired the color palette for today’s oh-so-pretty garden wedding inspiration board! Mixed with a splash of a rich dusky blue, for the groom and his guys, it creates a super feminine look that simply exudes romance…..

A palette this pretty suits almost any venue, and whilst its delicate, slightly dusky tones, give it a sense of age that makes it perfect for a vintage celebration, it is also utterly timeless. Which means it will look just as lovely when you look back on your wedding photos in 5, 10 or even 50 years time!

With a color scheme so unashamedly feminine, the decor should be too! Think an abundance of seasonal blooms, layers of soft tulle, lashings of lace and all things dainty and delicate when it comes to the tablescapes. Whether you’re celebrating outdoors or in, add some lush greenery for a contemporary feel (and to stop it from being too sickly sweet!) alongside pops of gold, to hint at understated luxury. And be sure to give your guests a glimpse of the prettiness you have planned with some elegant calligraphy stationery, tied with a ribbon and complete with vintage stamps.

Whilst this is definitely one for the girls, I don’t think your guys will be too upset with that gorgeous dusky gray-blue. Be sure to add a few extra details just for them – perhaps a cigar bar, a separate groom’s cake (of his favourite flavour, or wheels of cheese?), and a vintage car for him to drive you away in – and they’ll be happy!

It’s delightful, don’t you think? If you’re just not sure about pink, or if its early days in your wedding planning process and you want to see more wedding colours and inspiration boards perfect for Spring then you might want to take a peek at this neutral beauty abounding with greenery! Or this ethereally soft color palette, and this elegant aquamarine affair.
