So, it isn’t just me then that thinks Christmas is the most romantic time of year, because apparently Christmas Eve is the most popular day for proposals! Which means many of you are newly engaged, super excited brides-to-be coming to Chic Vintage Brides for the first time, and so let me say a heartfelt congratulations and welcome to my little blog. What can you expect whilst you are here? Well, as well as brimming with beautiful bridal fashion (wedding dresses, veils, shoes and accessories) it is packed with ideas for your big day, in the shape of real weddings that will make your knees weak, inspiration shoots exquisitely styled by some of the very best in the wedding industry and gorgeous inspiration boards. I love inspiration boards, creating them, perusing them and seeing them translated into bridal shoots or even better weddings! They are the perfect way to start your wedding planning process, so to celebrate and start all you newly engaged brides-to-be on the right path, today’s  Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons (which is my weekly round up of inspiring posts) is dedicated to my favourite 2013 Inspiration Boards from some of my favourite wedding blogs …..

1. Beginning with this bright, beautiful and sparkly Red, Pink and Gold wedding inspiration board from Rose & Ruby Paper Co over on Bridal Musings. This pretty palette just exudes romance and glamour….

2. Kate over at Magnolia Rouge has such an eye for the perfect colour combination, and none captured my heart or my imagination more than this one of petrol and chartreuse, it truly is Petrol Perfection……

If these have your creative juices flowing and you’re looking for more ideas, do take a peek at Chic Vintage Brides’ boards. Another must of course is a Pinterest account (if you don’t have one already) it is by far the easiest way to create your own wedding inspiration board (or boards).

Oh and don’t forget to take a moment to just enjoy being engaged!

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend,
