Groom & Groomsmen
Vintage Groom’s ‘Morning Of’ Editorial
FRANCESCA FRANCESCA PHOTOGRAPHYToday we turn our attention to our gorgeous grooms! Because whilst a wedding is often said to be all about the bride (and her dress of course!) the truth is there are two people stood at the aisle, and modern couples put just as much focus on the style choices (and grooming) of the groom – and rightly so!
As brides we put so much time into planning our pampering for the morning of, its easy to forget that the getting ready ritual is just as essential for our grooms! Dedicated to grooms and their all important ritual the morning of the big day, this styled shoot showcases the barber art (both a traditional wet shave, and a beard groom) and was shot in the most charming vintage B&B in Jesi, a town in the Le Marche region of central Italy. Meticulously restored some years ago, the B&B, its architecture and decor recalls the elegance of eras past perfectly.
Isn’t it fabulous?? And so great to see the focus on the groom for a change – more grooms styled shoots please! A big thankyou to everyone involved in this stylish vision, and especially to Francesca Francesca for photographing it so perfectly. If her dark and moody photography has you head over heels, you can seen more of it over on her website www.francescafrancesca.com. You will also find them on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
If you loved this and are looking for more ideas for the man in your life, do take a look at this dapper wedding inspiration shoot, or if its more style you’re after then The Gentlemanual‘s insights on rocking a colored suit on the big day, and some of the key groom’s accessories: the humble pocket square, suspenders and the tie bar, are must reads!
