Timeless Wedding Inspiration at an 18th Century Italian VillaMARIA FRANCESCA NITTI PHOTOGRAPHY
Today’s styled shoot whisks us away to Italy and an era of elegance and romance! Set in a stunning 18th century villa, complete with frescoes, open fireplaces and grand gardens; it is a timeless take on a vintage wedding with delicate fine art details and a refined nobility that utterly suits its setting….
Here’s a few words from photographer Maria Francesca Nitti about the inspiration behind this beautiful editorial…. “The venue we chose is the 18th-century country estate of the Buonaccorsi family, located outside the village of Potenza Picena, in the Marche region. The villa sits on the crest of a hill, the south-facing garden of five terraces laid out behind it, with a view on a clear day over rolling landscape to the blue Adriatic Sea beyond.
We let ourselves be inspired by its late-baroque charms and the surrounding nature. We liked playing with branches a little everywhere to emphasize the close connection of the villa with its unique italian garden. The Gallery space, covered with amazing frescoes, was ideal for an intimate yet sophisticated table setting, filled with white and green florals from Paola Paoletti, linens and fluffy silk tulle from Allegoria.
The look of our bride and the stunning bouquet are just how we wanted: timeless, light, romantic with the right amount of luxury. She wears a gown with a pinch of light blue in the petticoat, a french lace veil as a cap, all from Silvia Valli, with shoes from Mascia Mandolesi and jewelry from Yvone Christa completing her look.
Isn’t it just so romantic?? A big thankyou to the whole creative team who came together to create vision of timeless romance, and especially to photographer Maria Francesca Nitti for capturing it so perfectly and allowing me to share it with you here.
