Spring Garden – Inspiration for an Emerald & Rose Pink Wedding
Morning lovelies, how was your weekend? Mine was tremendously exciting (for those who don’t follow CVB on Facebook, here’s why! :)) Aside from dreaming of that little fella, I have mostly spent the weekend feeling all inspired by the beautiful roses in our cottage garden. They run the whole way along the front, just outside our windows and send the most beautiful scent all through the house. I think it must have filled my brain for it was all I could think of today, and so I would like to share a new Inspiration Board just perfect for late Spring or early Summer weddings……
Emerald was the colour of 2013 and its rich, dark depths perfectly compliments a pale rose pink. Of course the ideal setting for such a pretty palette is a garden, but for this backyard wedding I am thinking more polished and glamorous than rustic – the men in tuxs, the girls in floor length dresses and perhaps a chandalier or two!

For the bride no one does old world refinement with a modern twist quite like Vera Wang and figure hugging Leda from her Fall Winter 2013 collection with its intricate floral lace and halo like layers of tulle in the skirt would create the texture, movement and drama required…..

Or for something a little more timeless how about this beauty with its lace illusion neckline, V back and just a hint of Grace Kelly elegance….and pockets! I do love the idea of a wedding dress with pockets……
I also adore this flower adorned mermaid gown from Alvina Valenta…..

Or you could go with a touch of colour (and put your bridesmaids in ivory, silver or gold) with this beaded Tara Kelly ballgown, it has such a pretty sweetheat neckline……
