Rustic & Wildly Romantic Christmas Wedding Inspiration
HEATHER ROTH FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHYWith only 6 more sleeps until Christmas it’s time we got seasonal here on Chic Vintage Brides! And whilst I may be a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas decor (red, gold & green all the way in our household!) I do love an alternative palette for a holiday wedding – and the colors in this inspiration shoot from the wonderful Heather Roth just couldn’t be any prettier!
An elegant affair in a rustic setting that brims with romance from the stunning tablescape with lush florals of peonies, anemones, roses, astilbe, viburnum berries, thistle and pomegranate, to the timelessly beautiful styling of the bride and groom….. So grab a hot cocoa (or an eggnog if its not too early), sit back and enjoy…..with your pinning finger at the ready of course!
Planner Kate, of Kate & Company, is here to share more of the details….. “The hand-torn stationery pieces from Red Letter Goods cultivated our fig, rose, ivory, and gray color palette. This perfectly complimented the brisk and natural outdoor space. Textures in the paper, such as marble, silk, and cotton, transferred to the tabletop design as well. A plant-dyed silk table runner from Silk & Willow atop a wooden feasting table lent itself as the essential base to build upon.
With our muted color palette, it was integral to include lush pops of peonies, anemones, and other quirky elements. Fresh pomegranates and grapes were added into the floral hedge creating a natural look. Personalized slate gray cheeseboards with artisan meats and cheese selections added the perfect rustic chic element to our already hearty menu. Each place setting included a tea-dyed ivory hemstitched napkin, marble tile place cards, and touches of gilded gold to compliment the entire table setting.”
Isn’t it beautiful?? You see the holiday season really is the most wonderful time of the year to get married! I just adore that ‘Joy to the World’ wreath!…. Of course it’s far too big for my little cottage, but I would love one anyway.
A huge thankyou to the whole creative team behind this holiday season beauty, and especially to photographer Heather Roth. If you would like to see more of her beautiful fine art photography pop across to her website www.heatherrothphotography.com for much more, and be sure to find and follow her on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter!
Of course if it’s wedding inspiration in more traditional holiday hues you’re after, then you will find something bright & beautiful here with a perfectly DIYable ceremony backdrop (Christmas wedding or not!), here for something a little more rustic, oh and this inspiration board is rather lovely too!
