If you’re dreaming of a late Summer celebration filled to the brim with romance, then I have the perfect palette for you today! Delicate, fresh and oh so pretty it mixes soft shades of peach with the palest of greens and a light linen, to create a look that is timeless and impeccably chic…..

Not to mention completely versatile! Because whilst I had a relaxed outdoor wedding in mind (perhaps a vineyard or an orchard) when creating this inspiration board, I can so easily see this combination of colours looking just as beautiful for a coastal, woodland or country estate setting, or even an indoor celebration!

Make the most of the long Summer days though by celebrating with friends and loved ones sitting on rustic Farmhouse style tables, under the shade of some leafy trees. Keep the feeling casual with rustic woven chargers and cake stand, and simple white place settings. Have the focus of your tables be the fragrant fresh floral centrepieces in beautiful shades of blush, peach and golden yellow (roses and ranunculus come in the perfect hues). Keep them low to allow the conversation to flow, and you can always add a little height with some ivory candles in simple gold candlesticks, which will also provide some lovely soft light as the sun sets. Touches of gold in your stationery and accessories too will add just a hint of luxury.

These soft pretty shades will also be super flattering for your bridesmaids, but if you would prefer a colour to compliment this palette, pale pink would look lovely or you could mix & match pink, peach and linen for a really cute look that your bridesmaids will adore!

Keep your groom and his groomsmen cool, but still stylish, in linen suits. For a relaxed affair you could even forego the jacket in favour of a smart waistcoat over a crisp white shirt. Or for a more traditional look choose a dashing 3 piece suit, which will give them the option of removing their jackets after the ceremony. If linen just isn’t for you (it is a nightmare for creasing) don’t despair, because a smart Navy suit would work just as well with this colour scheme and setting!

It seems I have a bit of an obsession with peach because this is the 6th time its soft romantic shades have featured in my inspiration boards over the years (more than any other colour!) which just goes to show how versatile it is. If you love it as much as I do, you might want to see the other colours I have paired it with in the past – Mint, Spring Greens, Dusky Blue, Gold (for a NYE’s wedding!) and Grey!
