Whilst this elegant affair gets its old world romance from its wintery dusky hues, I actually had Summer (a season that we typically associate with brighter colors) in mind when I created it. I just love an unexpected color palette! And in this case I think the watery hues give this Summer celebration a timeless sophistication.

The key to keeping this look Summery is in the abundance of fresh flowers! Whether your wedding is taking place indoors or out, think greenery adorned altars (even if it’s a fireplace!), cascading or lush ‘just picked’ bouquets, floral hairpieces for the bride and bridesmaids, trailing table centerpieces, and even a wreath or garland for whatever you choose to make your getaway in. Make them seasonal blooms and a heady scent will leave a lasting memory on you and your guests!
