Today’s wedding styled shoot cleverly mixes two of the biggest trends right now, boho and minimalist, then layers a hint of vintage…. and whilst it may sound like this eclectic mix shouldn’t work, it most definitely does! Against a blank canvas of The Ruby, each color, design detail and moment sings – I do hope you have your pinning finger ready!

Before we lose ourselves in her lovely images, a few words from photographer Mandy Liz….. “Fruit and Flora is a Spring bohemian inspired styled shoot where we focused on pops of colors and natural elements. The venue is a historic church in Nashville that was restored. Our vintage rugs added color to our ceremony and we felt they were a perfect for a boho bride to walk down the aisle.

Our bride wore a stunning yet simple dress, and she accessorized with boho gold cuffs, bracelets, and stackable rings. She held an oversized bouquet to complement her minimalist gown.

Our reception table was lined with blue velvet and fresh fruits. Our mismatched vintage china from The Wedding Plate added elegant touches of soft pink, and created a sweet and romantic vibe. We lit candles to set the mood, and let the wax organically melt into place. We used pomegranates and blackberries to add fresh elements.

We had 3 cakes on display on the dessert table, and each one was topped with fresh flowers and fruits. The 2 tier cake was drizzled with caramel and topped with blueberries. Our baker used pomegranate seeds and matching macaroons to garnish the cake.

The two 1 tier cakes were decorated with flowers and fresh fruit. One of the cakes had a pink ombre frost and the other one had a natural unfinished look (exposing the cake at places). If you take a good look at the pink cake you will find a sweet miniature macaroon hidden between the cut pear and the flower!”
