Minimalist Mid-Century Garden Wedding Inspiration
It may be a little early to start thinking about Spring yet, but it’s hard not to think of sunshine and warmer days thanks to today’s sweet shoot and the splashes of yellow & blue in its color palette! A little bit mid-century, a little bit modern and beautifully minimalist, it is a taste of things to come in 2019…..
Jeanette of Party Crush Studio told us all about the inspiration behind the shoot and a little more about the design details within it…. “When it comes to design and handmade items we love styling and creating around what we love. I am a huge fan of mid century and I wanted to have our newest collection of silk runners inspire some of our modern mid century brides.
There is something about mixing trends and designs that we just love. We went with a very simplistic look for the bride with touches of modern elegance and the groom suit complimented the bride more airy and fresh feel.
The ceremony had stunning fresh greenery and vintage vases from the actual mid century time period. The tablescape had beautiful centerpieces and geometric vases to complement the overall concept.
A simple tiered cake from Batter Up Cakery was decorated with a beautiful mid century design from a vintage platter. We hope you enjoy this mid-century modern style as much as we did dreaming it up.”
