Stunning Vintage Engagement Rings
Good morning! I don’t know about you, but I can’t quite believe it is Friday again already?! Truly, it only seems like yesterday that I was swooning over the wonderful vintage wedding dresses from last week’s Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons; and yet here we are again. And do I have a treat for you today! I have confessed before of my somewhat magpie-ish obsession with all things sparkly, and this week I have been feeding my addiction (much to Mr E’s dismay) by scouring the net for some of the most unique and beautiful engagement rings – let me warn you now, I found some stunners! Don’t despair though, if you’re lucky enough to already have your engagement ring, for some of these would make the perfect cocktail ring and what could make a better wedding day gift or 1st anniversary present??……
What did I tell you? Gorgeous, right? Yep, today’s Friday fab 5 is all about the bling, with a sparkly ring from each of the eras – Victorian, Edwardian, 1920s, 1930s and 1940s! Oh and to make sure I found something for everyone there are diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies…..could there be a better way to end the week?
Victorian
From the Victorian era I chose this fancy but wearable diamond and ruby ring from Erstwhile Jewelry Co – its the original halo ring!
Edwardian
I love the creativity of jewelry in the bygone era, like the little hearts set with diamonds that nestle between the prongs of this Edwardian diamond solitaire from Erica Weiner…..just so pretty!
1920s
Tell me this ring from 1st Dibs isn’t spectacular?? With its 1.o1 carat diamond surrounded by sapphires it makes my knees a little weak!
1930s
Oh yes, Mr E is more than aware that an emerald ring has been high on my wish list for some time now, and this one from Trumpet & Horn would suit me just fine!
1940s
Of course one of the challenges when choosing a unique vintage engagement ring is finding a wedding ring to fit it. But you will have no such problem with this seriously stunning engagement and wedding ring set from Brilliant Earth (yes, vintage from Brilliant Earth, I didn’t realise either!)
So, come on ladies, which is your favourite? Let me know which one you’re lusting after…..or pop across to CVBs Engagement Rings Pinterest board for more sparkly stunners.
Have a fab weekend!
