Breathtakingly Romantic Fall Wedding Inspiration at Twickenham House
ARCHETYPEAlbert Camus wrote “Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” And inspiration shoots like this elegant beauty from Rebecca Rose Events and Archetype photography, full of turning leaves and gorgeous golden light, capture the essence of that sentiment perfectly……
The historic Twickenham House in Jefferson, North Carolina, was the perfect backdrop to this opulent Autumn wedding editorial. One of the Blue Ridge Mountains best kept secrets, it’s quite a trek up the mountain (4,400 feet to be precise!) – and on a steep and narrow road – but the scene that awaits you at the top is truly breathtaking, like something straight out of the pages of a classic. A charming old English manor nestled in over 600 acres of park-like grounds, and surrounded by a beautifully manicured lawn with spectacular mountain views.
Inspired by the romance of the setting, Rebecca Rose Events selected a seasonal color palette of red and burnt amber to compliment the turning leaves. Organic centrepieces of foliage and fruit were paired beautifully with vintage bronze candelabras, which in turn complimented the wedding stationery designed by Rebecca Rose Creative and calligraphed by Jill Velez. The perfectly simple one-tier frosted cake from Dewey’s Bakery looked delicious topped with ruby red pomegranate seeds, and don’t even get me started on the dress from Enzoani – apparently it’s the Olivia design, and the colour? Autumn gold of course! Have you ever heard anything so perfect?
Rebecca, of Rebecca Rose Events “This day – everything about it – stole my heart. The air was f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g cold and the wind was fierce (our model was such a trooper!), but we worked through it and I love the results.” – I’m with you, whole-heartedly Rebecca! Every breathtaking image by Archetype is sure to have you swooning, so have your pinning finger at the ready…..
