Spring Mist – Dreamy Wedding Inspiration in a Soft Palette of Blue & Grey
I know its a little out of season for many of you, but I am more than a little head over heels with today’s Spring wedding inspiration board! The soft colour palette was inspired by the light mist that lingers of a morning to tell you it is going to be a glorious day. Ethereal shades of blue and grey combine to create a look that is understated, elegant and utterly timeless….. it is quite simply my idea of heaven!

Whilst I had Spring in mind when creating this inspiration board, it is a palette that would look just as pretty – as well as nice and cool – for a Summer wedding. Whichever season you choose though, think an outdoor celebration lush with greenery and fragrant seasonal blooms – peonies and freesias for Spring or roses and ranunculus for Summer.
I imagined an intimate, backyard celebration with a ceremony beneath the shade of a tree and farmhouse seating under twinkling lights as the sun sets. But for a larger affair choose somewhere like a country estate or local gardens with expansive grounds and maybe room for a marquee in case of showers – its also wise to have a backup plan for if it rains!
Keep metallic accents silver and glassware white for a crisp, clean look to your tables and decor. And I absolutely love the idea of a choosing something other than the conventional black or navy for the groom and groomsmen. A light grey suit for warmer weather, or more charcoal grey for early Spring. Or of course you could choose a mixture of the two for a more relaxed mismatched look – its not only for bridesmaids you know!
It’s just divine, don’t you think?
