Chic Coastal Wedding Inspiration from Dessy & Aisle Society
CAROLINE & EVAN PHOTOGRAPHYTaking inspiration from Dessy’s richly textured bridesmaid dresses in a wash of soft beachy hues; a palette of sky blue and sandy beige, with highlights of soft baby pinks was chosen for today’s chic coastal wedding inspiration shoot from Caroline & Evan Photography. Sea glass inspired escort cards, a wind swept ribbon & rope table runner, and a glamorous sea side lounge are just a few of the truly beautiful details that are guaranteed to have you dreaming of a coastal wedding come the end!…..
Before we jump right in, a few words from the Designer, Kelly of Kelly Hancock Events, about the inspiration for this beautifully fresh shoot….“Inspiration for this shoot was built around the stunning Dessy bridesmaid dresses that we fell in love with: three dresses that reminded us of the ocean and sand that the coast is so well known for. From there, a “coastal” but not “beachy” design fell into place! In order to achieve this look, my main focus was texture. I wanted to keep things simple but with various textures and visual elements. I opted out of traditional linens and instead used gauzy ribbon and rope intertwined to create a table runner. It was the perfect contrast to the wooden table set with china and driftwood chargers!
FH Weddings & Events kept the florals untraditional, loose and wild while still maintaining femininity by using Protea, roses, oats and lots of greenery. Pulling in design details like a sea glass inspired seating display, an incredible textured wedding cake by Hands On Sweets with driftwood and rope accents, and a stunning invitation suite with brass and braided ribbon by Eleven Note Stationery all made for gorgeous coastal inspiration!
We added a touch of glam with the seating area and the bar by The Reserve Vintage Rentals and stayed true to the coastal mission with our map of Tampa Bay print by Oh Deer Creative. Various blues, greens, and pinks paired with soft and rustic elements prove that you can have wedding that fits both the bride and groom! We hope you feel inspired by these gorgeous coastal details enough to create your own ocean and sand inspired wedding day!”
Isn’t it lovely? I for one love the mismatched bridesmaid trend! Whether it is length, style, pattern or colour, it not only gives your bridesmaids the chance to choose a dress they love (and feel comfrotable and confident in) but it also creates a wonderfully relaxed look. If you like the looks of any of the darling dresses used in this shoot, you will find them online here. They have their most popular bridesmaid styles, colors and sizes ready to ship which means you can order your dresses and receive them in just a few days, not weeks.
Ordering online can be a nervewracking process, but not with Dessy. If the dresses you order don’t fit, don’t panic because all of their Quick Delivery dresses are 100% returnable. Of course if you would still sooner go the more traditional route of gather your girls together and going to try them on, then you can do so through one of Dessy’s authorized retailers – find your closest store by clicking here.
And if all that isn’t enough to convince you to visit Dessy, they’re also offering a special 15% discount, plus free shipping to all Aisle Society and Chic Vintage Brides readers! Simply enter code AS0214 at the checkout.
