Luxury In Green & Gold – Romantic Wedding Ideas Inspired by Tuscany

We had a cold and frosty start to the day here in Hawkes Bay this morning! And so, I thought with this week’s inspiration board I would whisk us away to sunnier climes; somewhere romantic, beautiful and most importantly warm! Inspired by the stunning Villa Cetinale, which nestling in the heart of Tuscany always gets me dreaming of a trip to Italy, I chose a palette of Summer greens, gold, stone & ivory for a wedding that positively brims with opulence and romance…..

Brimming with botanical infused beauty, this luxurious wedding inspiration couldn’t have a simpler colour palette! It’s all about the lush greens, with contrasts of ivory and touches of gold for added opulence and a distinctly vintage feel – it would be just perfect for any Spring or Summer wedding, whether in Tuscany or not! Much as we may all love the sounds of a week long celebration, surrounded by friends and family, in some unforgettable, far-flung destination, it’s possible to re-create the look without the travel expenses. Choose somewhere like a country estate or a vineyard and allow the beauty in nature be your decor. Incorporate herbs into your place settings or centrepieces, have a menu infused with Italian flavours and save a few pennies (and capture Tuscany in a bottle) with some beautiful DIY bottles of delicious Olive Oil for your favours – take a peek here for an easy tutorial.

This is such a fab colour palette for your groom & groomsmen too! It gives them a wide choice when it comes to their attire in terms of style, cut and colour – although who can resist a groom in a classic black tux?? For slightly more relaxed look, with a touch of rustic charm, tweed would work just as well – take a look at Klaus in this dreamy Tuscany wedding!

I love this colour palette, don’t you? For more wedding inspiration boards featuring lush shades of green take a look at this romantic Spring celebration, or this botanical beauty; or for other colour palettes perfect for a vintage wedding, whatever the season, simply click here.
