We’re continuing the romantic theme today with this oh-so-lovely garden wedding inspiration. Set in the grounds of the Red Rock Country Club; with flowers in a palette of burgundy & blush, and plenty of greenery too, from Layers of Lovely, a stunning long sleeve gown and an enticing courtyard tablescape, all impeccably styled by Heather Benge Events; it is my idea of modern-vintage heaven! So, grab a cuppa, sit back and soak up every detail of this flawlessly captured creation…..

The lovely Kristen of Kristen Kay Photography  shared these words about the shoot…. “The inspiration was to create a high end, backyard feel with romantic colors, loads of floral elements and hints of vintage, everywhere. The ceremony was set on the front lawn facing the mountains and pond. The archway of florals defined the space and the candles and vintage boxes brought in that eclectic, romantic feel.

The color palette was burgundy & blush, with gold and splashes of a deep blue. The floral elements, which include a beautiful floral archway, have pops of dark burgundy against white and blush tones as well as loads of greenery; whilst deep blue showed up in the details, the ribbons and the bridesmaid dresses. The invitation suite continued the floral theme and kept with the color scheme as well. The envelope with the deep blue in the inside as well as the deep red raspberries was my favorite added detail touch to tie it all together.

The cake was a dusty blue on the bottom and white with burgundy florals. The super tall and long backdrop for the cake was hand lettered by Liz with EG Letters. It was a gorgeous addition and really gave the cake cutting area it’s own defined space. As well as the perfect backdrop for the couple and cake cutting portraits.

Our bride’s dress was chosen for it’s gorgeous illusion neckline which played up the romantic feel. It had just the right amount of train for this backyard, outdoor ceremony and patio reception.

The table was set in an outdoor patio space surrounded by greenery. The table reflected the space with the use of greenery and the outdoor furniture chairs. The blush and burgundy florals gave the table a softer romantic feel while playing with the darker tones of fall. The gold chargers gave the table that high end feel.”
