‘The Forgotten Love Story’ – Romantic Blue Bridal Inspiration
Love isn’t always easy. Sometimes love is lost or forced to hide in locked drawers. Sometimes life happens and lovers part ways. Sometimes you live far away from the one you thought you can’t live without. This was the romantic idea behind today’s editorial….
Photographer George Liopetas shared what inspired this beautifully melancholic vision of a bride without her love…. ” I wanted to create something unique. I wanted to let my imagination run free, without prejudice, without something tying me back and create something true. This is when I came up with an editorial shoot for the unlucky ones, the heartbroken.
We wanted a beautiful venue for our editorial shoot, somewhere with great history, and we realized from the beginning that ‘Konstantinos Palaiologos Hotel’ was the ultimate place for us.
Varvara of Wedding Planner Shabby Chic did an amazing job with the styling, the vintage table setting, all the golden details, and the moody floral arrangements. We chose a beautiful gown by the Greek designer Crochelle and to die for handcrafted wedding shoes with Swarovski embellished heels by Lina Maragou.
Our stationery was designed by Christina and Marco, owners of ‘Beautiful Letters’ from Italy. They created the most amazing handwritten love letters for our shoot. Our lovely model did an amazing job bringing into the shoot the unending melancholy of an absent soulmate.”
“Like a flash-thunder, you break the darkness of my life,
like a storm you devastate my soul.
I’m walking through the ruins of my life,
I’ve got no defence against you and your net captures me.
You are coming like a butterfly over flowers
and I sink into your eyes.”
Isn’t it lovely?? To all the wonderful creatives who lent their talents, a big thankyou! And especially to George Liopetas who captured it all so perfectly.
