First made fashionable in the 1940s, nowadays birdcage veils are seen as a timeless and glamorous bridal accessory – and one that never really goes out of fashion. Today’s unstructured modern interpretation sometimes feature lace or sparkling diamante, and are often attached to beautifully embellished hair combs or clips.
There are so many reasons they remain forever popular, with modern and vintage-loving brides alike. Chic and understated for the bride not wanting the more traditional veiled look, they also don’t cover up your beautifully styled hair, and can be a more cost effective alternative to the long lengths of lace edged tulle.
