A Romantic Woodland Wedding Shoot Inspired by the Elements
LIVE VIEW STUDIOS PHOTOGRAPHYToday do take a few moments to swoon over this moody and utterly breathtaking inspiration shoot from Live View Studios. With a lush Autumn palette inspired by its woodland setting and a truly inviting sweetheart table with surprisingly elegant place settings, Anna & Brent and Michelle Wright Events have really raised the bar with every pin-worthy detail…..
Here are a few words from Anna & Brent of Live View Studios, who co-ordinated the shoot as part of The Film Gathering, an intimate retreat for film photographers held in the mountains of North Carolina: ‘Come live with me, and be my love. And we will all the pleasures prove, that valleys, groves, hills and fields, woods, or steepy mountain yields’ – The Passionate Shepherd to His Love, Christopher Marlowe
This ancient poem set the mood for our bridal inspiration in the mountains, filled with muted colors and drawing inspiration from the elements found in the mountains: water, wood, stone, earth, and wind. Hand lettered slate was used for the quote above, as well as for individual place cards on the table for two set among the mossy rocks, bare trees, and fallen leaves.
The sounds of the rushing mountain stream filled the air where these two lovers would dine at a simple but elegant table. Golden tones from the yellow hops and deep purples add richness to this winter palette. Our bride carried her fresh bouquet of woodland-inspired blooms, feathery greens, and winter berries as the mountain breezes swirled around her.
The wind blew the last few leaves off the trees and hinted at the chill that was coming. Yet she hardly noticed, with her warm heart filled with love she donned her veil, and there by the place where the water rushed against the edges of the damp earth, she waited for him…..”
Isn’t it just gorgeous? Such a heartfelt thankyou to the lovely Anna & Brent of Live View Studios for photographing the whole thing so flawlessly and for allowing me to share it with you here.
