Introducing Wanlu Bridal
Now I love a designer wedding dress as much as the next girl – I wore Jenny Packham myself and Vera Wang never fails to wow me with her beautiful use of colour. However much I adore these designers and their gorgeous gowns though, I have a special place in my heart for independent boutique brands. The often undiscovered (except by the most discerning of brides) but none the less talented designers, those pearls of the wedding industry whose work shines just as brightly once found. One such boutique brand is the wonderful Wanlu Bridal…..
Wanlu Bridal began life on Etsy under the name White Couture, but quickly grew and has lately been re-branded after the owner and designer, the lovely Wanlu Duan. Specialising in creating fairytale bridal gowns Wanlu focuses on exquisite details and quality. “Our goal is to introduce completely fresh and romantic bridal looks. We cherry-pick only the highest quality materials that will most suit our brides, from fabrics to packing. And all of our pieces are made with a heart full of love.”
After first being contacted by Wanlu, I loved looking back through her collections and seeing how the brand and gowns have grown – both in terms of size and design. From her Summer 2013 collection that was awash with ballgowns in waves of gorgeous organza and tulle…..
Through to Summer 2014, Wanlu’s third, largest and most opulent collection yet. A range complete with a mix of glamourous silhouettes and unique necklines in the most luxurious crystal embellished lace…..
Together they form a collection with something sure to be loved by every bride. Although specialising in dresses, Wanlu Bridal also offers a range of stunning accessories to compliment her designs and complete your bridal look from belts, gloves and headpieces…..
To the most gorgeous bridal jackets – just perfect for transforming your look and taking your outfit from day to evening…..
And for those brides wishing to express your own personal style, Wanlu Bridal offers a custom design service which allows you to design your own gown – there are some beautiful examples of her bespoke work on the Wanlu Bridal Facebook and Instagram pages, they are well worth a follow!
If you love what you see of Wanlu’s work, then just wait until you catch sight of her latest accessory additions – showcased in a most fabulous shoot captured by Jackie Moore. I will be sharing it in just a few weeks, so be sure to check back because it is going to knock your socks off!
