Teal & Cranberry – Inspiration for an Autumn Wedding
After the beautifully golden late days of Summer we have seen here this Easter weekend, it is hard to believe Autumn is upon us. It is only the slow turning of the leaves and shortening days that reminds us that before we know it Winter will be here and we will be pulling out those hats and scarves from the back of our drawers. I adore Autumn, it is truly my favourite season, there is something about the light that makes it so magical and I have already extolled the virtues of an Autumn palette for our husbands to be but in truth it is perfection for all aspects of a wedding…..
Think rich and elegant Teal and Cranberry, which brighten and complement beautifully the natural golden browns and chestnuts of the season – and can also be lightened with the addition of dusky pale pinks and gold…..

This colour palette is perfect for a rustic barn wedding, but who says a rustic wedding can’t also be glam? This regal colour combination would absolutely suit ball gown wedding dresses such as the super gorgeous Mila or Gemma from Hayley Paige…..

And there is no need for sleeves when a coat in Cranberry or Teal would look so stylish over one of these!

I love the texture and neckline of the alluring Galant from Elie Saab’s 2013 Collection for Pronovias…..
