3. A Wet Weather Contingency!

Actually, if you’re planning an outdoor celebration, you should have a wet weather contingency whatever season you are getting married. Be sure to give some thought to what you, your bridal party and guests will do if it rains. Consider alternative under cover locations for both your ceremony and your reception, and perhaps provide your guests with something to keep themselves dry & snug. Also think about your portraits, and discuss ideas with your photographer about locations, props and poses for if the heavens should open. But don’t despair, because there are 2 facts universally acknowledged in the wedding world: 1. that on the day nothing matters except you and your husband, and 2. that actually, the rain makes for some pretty spectacular photos!…..
