Today’s romantic outdoor wedding was at the beautiful Wiegerova Vila near the capital city of Slovakia. Zuzana & Matus exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones under a majestic tree before celebrating with a relaxed reception in the garden in an understated palette of green and white that suited their venue perfectly…..

A few words from bride Zuzana… “We wanted to have our wedding in vineyards, because it offers a unique and romantic atmosphere. We were looking for the perfect place in Carpathian hills near our hometown Bratislava. Most important was choosing somewhere that our guests would be relaxed and really enjoy the time spent together.  Also, there were many children at our wedding including our daughter, so we wanted a venue with a garden as a playground for kids 🙂 We visited many places, but when we saw Wiegerova Vila, we couldn’t think of any better. It is just amazing! Charming, romantic and chic. It has beautiful garden and offers privacy for guests.  it is furnished with very stylish, vintage furniture, and also has a beautiful apartment for the newly weds 🙂 

Our wedding was during the summer, and fortunately the weather allowed us to have the ceremony and dinner in the garden.   We wanted to keep the flower decoration and style very simple to underline the style of Wiegerova Vila. So very simple white and green combination was right choice.  The date of our wedding was 4th July. And it is was not only the day, when we celebrated our love, but at midnight it became a birthday celebration of our beautiful daughter who turned 1 year old 🙂 The wedding was very romantic, in the garden under the apple trees.”

THE DRESS

Luluanna salon – owned by two extremely nice ladies and their quote is “I don’t want to be a cake”. Anna, who was helping me, chose this boho dress from designer Tadashi Shoji for me and I think it was beautiful 🙂 I complemented it with a vintage pearl hairpiece by Lucia Stofej.

FAVOURITE MOMENT

Each part had its own magic. I liked very much the time spent with the make up and hair artist, preparations, dressing up, etc. But the favorite part I think was when my dad walked me down the isle and my to-be husband saw me in the wedding dress for the very first time and he whispered to me “you are so beautiful”.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY

A BIG thankyou to Gabriela Jarkovska, who captured our wedding so beautifully! She caught every detail, and atmoshpere of villa and our celebration of love. We really enjoyed the photo shooting with her, she is easy going and professional! When I saw the pictures, I was thrilled by the result.
