After Lihi Hod’s boho inspired offering earlier in the week, today I’m sharing more beauty from the recent New York Bridal Fashion Week. And this time it’s Reem Acra’s exquisitely romantic secret garden inspired collection…..

Reem, known for her refined designs and ability to combine traditional with a modern aesthetic, unveiled a collection for 2017 that took my breath away, and will no doubt become an instant classic. With an array of enchanting necklines, silhouettes, embellishments and sleeves, she yet again demonstrated her inimitable eye for elegance, romance and a touch of whimsy; sending her ethereal models sashaying down the runway like garden nymphs, with flower adorned braided updos and lace butterflies across their décolletage.

Her Fall 2017 collection isn’t just for the free spirited dilettante though! With almost as many strikingly structured gowns as there are gossamer sheer delights it is clear that Reem continues to keep an eye on the latest bridal trends. “You’ll see lots of ballgowns in this collection, far more than I’ve ever done,” Reem Acra said at the show. “That’s what I see for 2017. Yes, we have the mermaids, the fit-and-flares, but really my focus was the ballgown. It’s all about capturing happiness, this mood of lightness.”
