A Gorgeous Sea Front Wedding With Old World Glamour
I am so excited to be bringing today’s real wedding, which comes courtesy of the lovely Christina from Chrisp Pictures. Simone and Cole were married in October at the incredibly impressive Campbell Point House and managed to achieve the perfect mix of relaxed elegance, befitting a beach wedding, but with more than a hint of old world glamour……
Christina says of the newlyweds and their big day “I met Simone + Cole a little while back, at a funky Inverloch cafe. I knew when I met them that their wedding was going to be awesome, I just had that feeling. So much so, I asked one of my best friends to help me shoot it – Verity (from Ginger + Mint Photography). And, I’m so happy she decided to come. When we arrived at the venue – Campbell Point House in Leopold, Vic – we literally gasped as we drove in the gates, down the drive. What a view. What an amazing place…… Verity + I both left the wedding still gasping and so happy we got to shoot such an amazing day together.” You can see Verity’s pictures here and there is also a video by Purple Monky, who filmed the day… love their work!
I don’t think I have ever seen such glamorous bridesmaids! Nothing could be classier than floor length lace in black and I love that each has slightly different necklines, but the same dazzling brooches.
Oh how Simone’s wedding dress makes my heart skip a beat! The pleated panel in the front and the nipped in waist dropping to that gorgeous chapel train is just so Ginger Rogers and yet those cap sleeves remain a key bridal ‘trend’.
The exquisite Dining Hall at Campbell Point House requires little by way of decoration so Simone went with the old adage ‘less is more’ with simple, scentilicious rose centre pieces in pastel pink…..
For more of the evening including a rather fabulous first dance go to Purple Ribbon who videoed the day (something I am increasingly wishing we had had done) Head over to Chrisp Pictures blog to see more of Christina’s perfectly captured moments from this elegant wedding, or go and take a peek at Verity from Ginger & Mint‘s pics!
Congratulations Simone and Cole, wishing you a life of happiness together! A big thank-you to you both, and Christine, for letting me share your super elegant wedding on CVB.
