Beautiful Bronze Wedding Inspiration from Italy
Photography by “Di luce e d’ombra” di Zoccarato DanielaToday’s wedding inspiration shoot takes place in Piedmont, a region in the north of Italy renowned for its beautiful hills, landscapes and good wines. With its grand rooms, historical features, and magnificent gardens Villa Capannina, a stunning 18th century villa, is the perfect setting for this stately take on bohemian style in a rich palette of brown, bronze and gold……
Photographer Daniela told me all about what inspired this stunning vision in bronze…. “Our idea behind it was to bring back the feeling of bohemian atmosphere, not as a particular historical era, but for its old fashioned romanticism, inspired by laces, soft lines, natural colors and a hint of “studied randomness” as we find in nature.
Following this theme and the different shades of the Villa, the color palette is mainly ivory and beige, with golden accents and a pinch of dark bronze.
The venue is Villa La Capannina, built in 1700, a perfect setting for our shoot thanks to its rooms with antique furnishings, mosaic floors, large fireplaces and bright windows that take us back in time.
Irene, our bride, wears an ivory dress with soft lines adorned by lace inserts and romantic elements, finished off by a flower adorned elaborate and soft ponytail that recalls the bohemian mood.
The table setting reflects the theme with plates and cutlery with golden details and finely crafted crystal glasses. The formal centerpiece, made almost entirely of flowers in shades of white and ivory (dahlias, roses, freesia, lisianthus, buttercups), finds its peculiarity in pampas grass and in the almost unexpected movement created by some branches of a centuries-old tree from the villa garden.
The stationery keeps with the atmosphere, thanks to the elegant details of the Amalfi’s handmade paper enriched by a touch of gold foil and a bronze wax seal.
And last but not least, the ivory cake is decorated with gold foil, flowers, pampas grass and branches. We set up the cake in an area of the Villa’s garden, with its old trees and statues as a beautiful background.”
As always I would like to say a huge thankyou to the creative team who lent their talents to bring this inspiring editorial to life!
