Lush Spring Boho-Vintage Wedding Inspiration from Toni Larsen Photography
Good morning lovelies! For all of you still shivering through the midst of Winter, I have just the thing to warm you up and brighten your day this cold Monday morning. Today’s lush Spring wedding inspiration shoot from Toni Larsen Photography is full of the most creative and utterly gorgeous floral styling from Chic Vintage Brides favourite and regular Toni at Magdalen Hill (including a fresh flower necklace, sweet floral anklets and a stunning floral hair accessory) as well as lots of lovely ideas for how to add a little boho chic to your vintage wedding.
Created in the midst of a wood, late on an early Spring day when the light was at its most magical, in a lush palette of white & green, inspired by nature and featuring the yummiest wedding cake that is sure to make your mouth water, this shoot is simple but charming, boho-vintage at its most chic. Before I share every fabulous detail, a little something from Toni at Magdalen Hill, the lady with the vision.
“Being a long-time admirer of Toni Larsen‘s work I went to her with an idea I had….
“I have this vision. A Bride and Groom standing in front of a 7 foot dream catcher on a rug in the middle of a forest. I’m thinking lots of natural textures, skulls with flowers and lots of green, emerald green. I fancy creating ankle garlands for something different, maybe a floral necklace, oh but a killer headpiece would be cool… actually maybe all three… a bit vintage with an elegant boho vibe”.
“Let’s do it” she said “I have just the couple”. Cue the gorgeous happy couple Renee Gleeson and her new husband Hayden.
Laces and linen were layerd with naturally dyed Turkish rugs, sheepskins and a deer hyde to give a sense of luxury. This was further enhanced with vintage tableware from Style Me Vintage and a naked wedding cake from Petit Fours was a beautiful accompaniment to the natural textures. A dream catcher made from vintage doilies softly fluttered in the breeze and stationery from Kate at Make Hey reflected this sense of whimsy coupled with just the right amount of sophistication perfectly. Flowers dripping from head to toe were juxtaposed with metallic tattoo’s from Vanishink for a bit of fun and added gypsy flair.”
Now doesn’t that sound like heaven to you? And I just know you are going to love the end result, so have your pinning fingers at the ready ladies!…..
The cake is ginger, cinnamon & treacle, now how mouthwateringly good does that sound?
The lovely lady from behind the lens Toni Larsen, told me “I always get excited when Toni comes to me and says she has an idea for a shoot. Working with someone with such a clear vision is exciting and always makes me wish I could get married again – just to have Toni’s influence over all the beautiful options available to brides these days! When Toni told me her idea for this boho-vintage wedding shoot, I had just the location in mind. Photographers are always chasing the most beautiful light to help tell the story of a wedding day, and to make brides and grooms radiant, and with all the beautiful trees I knew this spot would be perfect. It’s also a special place for our models as we did their real wedding photos there too!”
Thank-you so much Toni for dreaming up and bringing to life such a gorgeous boho-vintage vision. And a special thanks to Toni Larsen for capturing it all so perfectly and allowing me to share it on Chic Vintage Brides.
