Today I have just the thing guaranteed to brighten even the dreariest of Mondays! This sweet couple’s personal style and sense of romance shines through in every part of their big day: from their bright and beautiful colour palette, to the lush florals, and stunning garden ceremony setting. All together it makes for quite the uplifting, and unforgettable, affair…..

Drawing upon the natural beauty of their venue Shelby & Zachary filled their relaxed celebration with an abundance of the most beautiful florals and vintage details, as well as a few fun elements to give it a uniquely personal feel – just wait until you see the groom’s cake!

Before we dive head first into all the pretty, a few words from photographer Krystle Akin “What an absolutely beautiful, magical wedding this was. Shelby and Zachary had been dating for pretty much forever since they met in middle school, and their bated breath excitement to finally be tying the knot was palpable.

Their first look was full of such tenderness even with the rain chances and the umbrellas near by the entire time; and their ceremony, surrounded by lush flowers and happy people, was a reflection of their personalities. Set in the East Texas garden of Elmwood gardens they wanted the laid back boho feel. The vows they wrote for each other were thoughtful and sweet and made a perfect foundation for their highlights montage, featuring both High Definition and some vintage Super 8 film plus film photographs.”
