Elegant Black & Gold Art Deco Wedding Inspiration
KATIE GRANT PHOTOGRAPHYWhilst Victoriana may be the big trend for 2017 (replacing the Art Deco trend we have all so loved the last few years) there is one thing that NEVER goes out of fashion and that is timeless elegance, which this shoot from Katie Grant Photography has in spades! From the lush bouquet, to the opulently gilded wedding cake, and the sartorial style of the bride & groom, it evokes the bygone era so eloquently…..
I will let Katie tell you a little more about it….. “Our shoot was inspired by the era of the 1920s…when elegance prevailed, before the glitz of the “Gatsby age”. Complete with an authentic REO speedwagon from the era, this shoot speaks of a timeless age that every bride can still look to for inspiration.
Our adoring couple are clad in a classic morning coat and a chic sheath gown. The bride’s vintage gloves and glamorous headpiece in her hair complete her authentic look from the 20s. Loose, lush florals wrapped in gold ribbon and a stunning gilded cake add a touch of elegance to the day.”
Isn’t it beautiful?? Every single stylish detail captures the elegance of the era gloriously; and the light, with that hint of pink as the sun sets, is just so romantic. I can’t thank the creative team behind this beauty (listed below) enough, especially Katie Grant Photography for photographing it so perfectly and for allowing me to share it on Chic Vintage Brides. If you love this shoot as much as I do, do pop over to Katie’s website www.katiegrantphoto.com to see more of her stunning fine art photography, and don’t forget to follow her on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
