I couldn’t be more excited to be unveiling the latest offering from one of my favourite designers Emmy London. If you are familiar with the name, then you are more than likely already eagerly anticipating the glamour you are about to glimpse. If the name is new to you however, then you are in for a lovely surprise, for when it comes to bridal shoes, no-one designs them quite like Emmy!….

Emmy London is the luxury bridal label of English designer Emmy Scarterfield. Now in its 15th year, the brand has established a name for creating beautifully crafted and exquisitely embellished shoes and accessories for the modern bride (you can take a peek at past collections here on Chic Vintage Brides: Meadow Dreaming and Cancello)

And, with a focus on feminine silhouettes, this her latest offering features all the show-stealing embellishment that Emmy London is famed for whilst also introducing new shoe shapes and heel heights to complement the existing collection – including an adaptation of two of Emmy’s most iconic shoe designs Cinderella and Leila.

Inspired by the intricate tiles that adorn the cobbled streets of Porto, Portugal – the location of Emmy London’s workshop where each pair of shoes is lovingly handmade – designer Emmy Scarterfield has drawn upon the shapes and repetitive patterns found in the tiled artwork.

From complex frilly designs to chunky geometric shapes, the new collection incorporates pastel shades, metallics, all over embroidered embellishment and organic galactic stones in a true celebration of the brand’s home-from-home.

Isn’t it beautiful? The whole collection represents a modern evolution of the brand’s attention to detail and quality craftmanship. For example the beautiful Gabriella, available in this lovely powder blue as well as ivory, features over 200 Swarovski crystal embellishments and are 100% catch free!

Emmy has even snuck into the collection a number of sophisticated shoe clips – for taking her more understated and minimalist designs up a style notch……
