If I have neglected one thing on Chic Vintage Brides, it is the all important tablescape – and yet I remember all too well how difficult I found it deciding on the style, size, vessel and flowers for our NYE wedding back in 2010. And so I have decided to put this wrong right with a series of posts packed full of ideas for centrepieces that are absolutely guaranteed to wow your guests! Starting with the elegant tall variety that I SO wish I had chosen for our big day…..

The great thing about these towering beauties is that they not only look incredible, but are also super functional! Whether floral or otherwise, adding height to your tables adds a fabulous dimension to your decor, and more importantly also allows your guests to chat freely.

Tall centrepieces are also inextricably associated with lavish wedding receptions, so they immediately lend a certain amount of opulence to your celebration – even though some of them may not be quite as pricey as you imagine! Whether they are adorned with cascading florals or flickering candles, set in soaring vases, crystal candelabras or precious metal candlesticks, these dramatic centrepieces will command attention the moment your guests step into your reception.
