Whimsical and Wonderful Flower Crowns

Oh, if you love flower crowns then you will want to take a peek at my most recent post here it is brimming with beauties!

The bridal floral crown has seen a real revival in the past year – vintage, whimsical and bohemian inspired brides are all turning to the floral headdressflower wreath headband or flower crown as a pretty, rustic, and in some instances DIY alternative to the traditional veil or headpiece. And now, what was once confined to the heads of 1980’s Bride, in all her frilly and pouffy glory, is gracing the heads of many of the most chic and stylish brides, featuring in many of the top wedding blogs and appearing in the glossiest of wedding magazines – I LOVE it!

Hi Sonia, how exciting – May will soon be here :-) The best person to talk to is your florist, show them a few examples of what you are hoping for and they should be able to help – they should also be able to co-ordinate your flower halo with your bouquet.
Or, if you or any of your friends or family are feeling crafty you could try a DIY flower crown, this post on Love My Dress made it look SO easy!
Good luck with your search and have a fabulous day on May 5th!!!

Brides can make this idea for their wedding style. The crowns are latest in fashion nowadays, yet many have been trying to look for new ideas on their wedding dress and wearing about accessories. Well, instead of headbands, much better to have some like this crown which adds charm on the dress.

Making flower crowns is actually super easy when you use a headband and some felt! I made a few here:

And it took me around a total of 10mins each 😀

I can’t wait to adorn these flower crowns at my wedding some day! I don’t care if the brides of late by then won’t be wearing them, I’d be more than happy to bring them back into fashion by then hahaha they’re just so romantic and lovely!

For the budget brides that would like to make some of their own, I attempted to make a few and it only took me around 10 minutes each flower crown, I absolutely love mine!

All you need is a headband, felt, assortment of flowers and a hot glue gun and you’re set!
