It’s impossible to be anything other than completely smitten with today’s super sweet engagement shoot! With its vintage 1950s inspired styling, the beautiful Spring light and blossom filled trees and gorgeous couple Nikos and Stavroula – whose looks of love couldn’t be any cuter, all captured so beautifully by Elias Kordelakos; it is quite simply the perfect example of why every couple should have an e-sess!

Isn’t it a stunner? Such breathtaking backdrops, the most perfect outfits (those polka dots just look so fab) and I love the pops of red! And the couple put these photos to good use. To tell us more about it, I am going to hand over to the man behind the camera Elias Kordelakos…..

“It always amazes me that I get picked by the best couples! I feel great honour every time I listen to the phrase ” Elias, we want you to be our wedding photographer”. It really is a great honour for someone to trust you on such an important occasion. The relationship between a couple and their wedding photographer is a personal one. With Nikos and Stavroula we got along from our very first meeting. First of all, we decided to do a short engagement session, so they could use one of the pictures for their wedding invitation. Everyone was really thrilled with the result and we thought it would be a great idea to have another pre-wedding session, this time to create a wedding wish book for the guests. ”

I can see exactly why the couple and their guests loved these photos so much! And why they chose to go back for another shoot – the same outfits, styled slightly differently and this time they headed  to the mountains, with Elias again in tow. “For the second shoot we chose a beautiful small lake, a very picturesque place not far from Athens. In this shoot, I was joined with a very good friend of mine and talented photographer himself, Vasilis Kouroupis.”
