I quite simply adore today’s inspiration shoot from ARTIESE Studios! In the prettiest palette of blush and gold, and abounding with the most beautiful florals, it is the epitome of romance. And with its modern twist on vintage, it encapsulates everything we here at Chic Vintage Brides love….

Therese of ARTIESE Studios collaborated with Tanya from Taffete Designs in Vancouver on this editorial shoot, and sought to create a modern twist on vintage romance. Therese explains, “I wanted something soft and pretty with a vintage charm.” and I think its fair to say Tanya delivered – and then some!

With the graceful beauty of the Cecil Green Park House as the perfect backdrop, romantic florals by Flower Factory in a combination of pale pinks, golden yellows and golds added the vintage, whilst pops of fuchsia gave a nod to the contemporary, especially when paired with the incredible modern glass calligraphed invites by Post Calligraphy. The bride’s stunning bouquet of roses, orchids, and ranunculus created a layered look that complemented her beautiful lace fishtail wedding dress.

Even the cake from Sweet Bake Shop offered a twist on the traditional, a simple naked cake with a light coat of buttercream and some delicate fresh flowers. Taffete Designs adorned the intimate tablescape with a neutral silk tablerunner, vintage pattern white china and vintage gold decor, whilst the lavish soft pink floral centrepiece and rustic cross-back chairs finished the look off perfectly.

Isn’t it just divine? That bouquet had me seriously swooning!
