After all the dark and moody inspiration of the last week today’s editorial is the light and airy fix we need – and I am head head over heels in love with every detail of it. Strolling around a romantic garden, our bride with a modern take on Edwardian romance wears beautiful lace wedding dresses from one of my favourite designers Claire Pettibone, and is surrounded by the most beautiful blush florals designed by Bows And Arrows. Fine art photographer Kayla Barker was on hand to capture all the pretty, and every one of her images is sheer perfection!

I will let the lovely ladies from Bows And Arrows take it from here … “We had the privilege to host a mother-daughter duo of Candelaria Designs in Dallas at the home of Julie Cohn, a fine art jewelry designer, to explore the world of design and aesthetics.

We were tucked away in the gardens of Julie’s home and used tones of blush, coral, camel and oatmeal to lay the groundwork of our tablescape. We draped the table in a gorgeous oatmeal La Tavola linen and had a centerpiece overflowing with garden roses, pom dahlia, hellebores, allium, amaranthus, foraged vines, textures and pomegranates.

The place cards were written by Lauren Essl of Blue Eye Brown Eye, and all beautifully captured by our dear friend Kayla Barker. We used the natural, botanical elements of the garden to lay an effortless backdrop for our shoot to allow the attendees to explore within their own aesthetic and design to create a concept that was equally elegant, minimal and approachable.”

So divine! It has an air of The Secret Garden don’t you think?
