Today’s inspiration board mixes timeless romance with rustic elegance – showing that you can have a wedding that is relaxed yet still refined. And the palette couldn’t be any more perfect for a summer celebration, with soft citrus hues and just a hint of grey!

When creating this board I imagined a wedding high up in the mountains. Somewhere surrounded by pine trees, where you would exchange your vows with the sun and a cool breeze on your skin whilst listening to the birds sing! With rustic buildings for getting ready and the reception, should the mountain air become too cool after the sun sets.

Keep florals soft and fragrant – all white and pale yellows, with maybe a hint of orange and of course lots of lush greenery. Let the rustic tables shine by keeping centrepieces simple, or better still suspended above the table (I love that floral chandelier!) but add a hint of elegance to your affair with gold flatware and crystal cut glassware – and perhaps velvet for your bridesmaids.
