Good evening, morning and everything in between lovely brides-to-be! How has your week been? Can you believe this weekend it’s so long January, it has been a blast and a big hello fabulous February! Which means it will soon be Valentine’s Day. Thankfully I know just what I am getting Mr E (in fact, so organised have I been that, I have known what I am getting him since Christmas) If however you are struggling for ideas, or want to point your hubby-to-be in the direction of some yummy love tokens for you then take a look in CVB’s new Boutique (truthfully, there are more gorgeous gifts for you in there than there are for him at the moment). Back to today though, as it is Friday, which can only mean one thing – time for Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons, my pick of this weeks wedding posts!

Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons

1. Starting with this perfectly glam but DIY-able soft up-do hair tutorial from Green Wedding Shoes- featuring the prettiest gold headband from Chic Vintage Brides’ fave Mignonne Handmade.

2. Fall is my absolute favourite season and I am just crazy in love with the autumnal colour palette of this elegant San Ysidro wedding by the inimitable Tec Petaja – the splash of teal really makes the burnt orange and deep reds pop. How gorgeous is the muted tone of the bridesmaids bouquets? And just wait until you see the bride’s!

3. This luxurious and romantic fig & gold wedding inspiration shoot from  Onelove Photography is delicious in every sense of the word! In a rich, striking colour palette of purple-black and blush inspired by the ripe figs, accented with gold for further opulence, the floral arrangements, decor and styling is yummy! (and how fab do the gold painted figs look atop this cake? what a great DIY cake topper!)

4. I confess, whilst I adored emerald last year, I am not the biggest fan of Pantone’s colour of the year for 2014 – Radiant Orchid….or at least I wasn’t until I saw this Boho wedding inspiration board from Southbound Bride who combined it with a soft peachy orange, bronze and the bold Protea bloom and somehow made me love it!……

5. And last but not least, because it is Friday and Fridays should always be frock-tastic, I have this unique wedding dress (1 of 6) spied by The Knot from RiviniSo demure is the high neckline with its sweet little cap sleeves, but the skirt makes a real statement for the fashion forward bride……
