Wow, is it just me or did that week fly by? Still, I can’t complain as it is Friday again, the start of the weekend, which can only mean one thing time for my pick of this weeks wedding posts! I confess there is little I love more than perusing wedding blogs myself, despite being an old married woman of 3 years now. I continue to be bowled over by the beautiful work of my fellow bloggers, the inspiring shoots created by talented industry professionals (purely in the name of love, for you lucky brides-to-be to enjoy), and of course the exceptional and exquisite weddings brides and grooms like you worldwide create (no two weddings are ever the same and each one is captivating in its uniqueness) And so it is always a pleasure to collate Chic Vintage Brides’ weekly Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons……

1. I have been a wee bit obsessed with our furry, four legged friends since New Year’s Eve when Mr E and I were joined by this little fella 🙂 So when I spotted this DIY Floral Wreath, and the handsome hounds modelling them I just couldn’t resist……

2. Of course it’s not just hounds that can carry off a floral wreath for your big day – I swear that horse is proudly posing in hers! And I love the DIY, backyard feel to this super pretty shabby chic Peach & Mint wedding inspiration board from Burnett’s Boards…..

3. Monday I will be sharing the big bridal trends for 2014 and I am pleased to say wedding dresses with long sleeves are going no-where! This week the lovely Elizabeth over at Bridal Musings pulled together 30 of her favourites and there are some serious stunners, including this dazzler from Ersa Atelier……

4. This Biltmore Estate wedding inspiration shoot by Heather Payne has it all! Filled with old world charm and modern elegance including this simple (after all “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” ~ Leonardo da Vinci) wedding cake, it will take your breath away……

5. This elegant spanish castle wedding by  Bryce Covey is truly the stuff of fairytales….. in fact it has left me a little short of the eloquence to describe it, so instead I will just let this picture of the flawlessly chic bride do the talking for me (yes the wedding really is that beautiful!)
