Following on from our look at stunning colours for a Fall wedding, today we continue the colour theme with the most beautiful inspiration shoot – because I couldn’t let 2016 disappear without one last nod to the prettiest palette of all! Pantone’s picks for colour of the year, Serenity & Rose Quartz. And this could be the loveliest take on the duo yet, with exquisite styling, lush florals and a beaded blue wedding dress to die for, it’s the perfect way to showcase just how romantic this palette is…..

I know when Pantone first announced this darling duo, I wasn’t convinced – I envisaged weddings looking more like a gender reveal. But today’s exquisite shoot shows how to keep this colour combination chic. Against the backdrop of the charming RiverOaks Charleston Wendy Kay of Birds Of A Feather Events styled a tablescape with relaxed grandeur, pairing coloured glass with ornate silverware and linens in soft shades of pink and blue.

Ash & Co. created a natural, radiant look with a soft side braid for our ethereal bride in her elaborately beaded blue bridal gown from Gossamer – talk about heavenly! An organic asymmetrical bouquet in the delicate starring shades by  The Southern Table completed the look with an air of pure romance.

The elegant calligraphy that adorned the light, watercolor and marble stationery from Southern Fried Paper, added olde world elegance and was the perfect finishing touch….. this is one of those shoots you are definitely going to want to have your pinning finger ready for!
