Inspired by that heavenly styled shoot of the other week (if you missed it you will find it here – and it really was a must see!) I decided to celebrate Pantone‘s picks for colour of the year with style, and an inspiration board dedicated to these sweet shades…..

I really wasn’t sure when I first heard that Pantone had chosen these two pastels for their colours of the year – I envisioned weddings resembling gender reveal baby showers. But over the course of the year they have more than won me over! Kept simple, with just Serenity and Rose Quartz, offset by some greenery of course, this pretty palette is ideal for a floral-filled Summer wedding with roses, peonies and ranunculus all coming in the perfect shade of pink.

Let the palette and florals shine, and add an extra layer of romance, with delicate design details – letterpress stationery, a pretty signature cocktail and a semi naked watercolour wedding cake. And yes, these are shades even the groom can rock, they look so summery toned down with some neutral trousers and shoes.
