A Romantic Spring Meadow Engagement Shoot
You all saw the adorable apple orchard engagement shoot I shared a couple of weeks ago I hope – it was super sweet! Well today’s engagement shoot from the fabulous Carlie Statsky also involves a picnic, a few vintage details sprinkled throughout and is also utterly gorgeous. But instead of an apple orchard, Phuong & Bao chose a dreamy meadow and a chic modern-vintage look for their engagement session…..
Don’t you just love that dress? And her perfectly tousled fishtail braid by Mimi & Taylor? What I wouldn’t give to be able to create such lovely styles with my hair! I will hand you over to lovely bride-to-be Phuong for a few words about the shoot “The late afternoon sunlight of spring accentuated the essence of love to perfection. It emanated vibrantly through the rosemary fields, radiated from the meadow of wild flowers into thousands of lights and casted an angelic glow upon everything it touched. Needless to say, we were mesmerized. Along with that, we also learned a great deal about positioning and posing for the shot. From just a simple small gesture of the fingers to criss-crossing of the feet, we felt like models in an Anthropologie spring catalogue. Without Carlie’s guidance and enthusiastic humor, we probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much as we did. We are so happy to have these beautiful photos to look back on for years to come.”
Much love and huge thanks to the happy couple Phuong & Bao – I can’t wait to see your wedding! And to Carlie Statsky for allowing me to share their glorious engagement shoot. You can see more of her incredible work by visiting her website www.carliestatsky.com, taking a peek at her blog and following her on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.

It’s too pretty and love the outfit that this lady wore
Brilliant. I so wish most brides would get away from the thinking the gown has to be a white/cream variety.
