Reem Acra’s Regal 2018 Bridal Collection
It is my absolute favourite time of year! Not only is it officially the start of Fall and the countdown to the holiday season, but also last week was New York Bridal Fashion Week – the week when the wedding world gathers in New York to see the latest bridal collections unveiled. And whilst I was unable to attend this year (being busy moving house instead) my inbox has been brimming ever since with the most beautiful wedding dresses for 2018. Sadly it isn’t possible for me to share EVERY collection with you, I will however be publishing a few of my favourites, those that delighted and beguiled me most, including (as I have in past years) a few new names alongside the finest and most vintage inspired I can find. Which brings me today’s stunning offering from Reem Acra…..
Renowned international designer Reem Acra is known for her breathtaking collections that combine tradition with a modern aesthetic, and has lead the way by continuously redefining bridal boundaries since her first collection in 1997. In her 20 years in the industry she has established herself as a favourite with brides and blogger alike with her detailed and innovative couture designs – and her impeccably styled shows!
For her 2018 collection, which was inspired by the words “We are protected. The spirit of saints,”Acra invited the wedding world to The New York Public Library, a setting that with its grandiose columns, marble tiling and cavernous ceilings, was a sight to behold itself and was worthy of her regal gowns. Ethereal touches such as baby’s breath crowns, garlands and bouquets completed the sublime show….
Isn’t the whole look just heavenly?? I love the romantic twist on the flower crown! If you would like to see more from this fabulous designer pop over to the Reem Acra website at www.reemacra.com and be sure to stay up to date with all the latest news, trunk shows and collections by following her on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.
Or if its more collections for 2018 you’re yearning for, then ‘Morning Mist’ from Katya Katya Shehurina is for you! And don’t forget to check back here in a few hours, and over the coming weeks, when I will be sharing more including the latest from new favourite of mine Lihi Hod.
