Paperswan Bride Boutique – Exclusive New Zealand stockist of Stewart Parvin
Having opened its doors just days ago I am super excited to be able to share these beautiful images of Wellington’s newest and chicest bridal boutique Paperswan Bride. And New Zealand’s exclusive stockist of the gorgeous gowns of world renowned and royal designer Stewart Parvin!
Located in leafy Kelburn Village just 5 minutes from the centre of New Zealand’s capital, the boutique has been lovingly restored to create a simply gorgeous space for brides to find their dream wedding dress. This really is one of the prettiest boutiques I’ve seen, from the Mayfair china from which tea and biscuits are served to the French style furniture where your Mum and besties can oooh and aaah over the stunning wedding dresses, until you find the one!
But despite its glamour and polish, owner Jennifer created Paperswan Bride to be a friendly and welcoming place to be; and you can tell that she has poured a heart full of love into this boutique, with no attention to detail spared. Jennifer, who worked for world renowned bridal designer Stewart Parvin in London, said she wanted to bring not only something new and exciting to NZ but also create a destination boutique for its brides. ‘Buying a wedding dress is a once in a lifetime opportunity, my aim is to make sure it’s a wonderful and memorable experience for all my brides.’
Jennifer has carefully hand-picked dresses and designers to create an exquisite collection of gowns for brides on every budget. Paperswan Bride is currently the exclusive New Zealand stockist of British designer Stewart Parvin, most well-known for designing popular royal Zara Phillips’ wedding dress and being the Queens favourite couturier. How wow is that? Talk about a wedding dress fit for a princess!!
As well as such names as Paloma Blanca, La Sposa and Mikaella, the boutique is also Wellington’s only stockist for talented New Zealand designer Kelsey Genna whose gorgeous romantic gowns are inspired by the beauty in flowers (you can’t have forgotten her debut collection featured here on CVB)
Here is a sneak peek at some of the designs currently stocked….
Paperswan Bride with all of its dreamy dresses is a little piece of heaven on earth…. a real destination! I can’t wait for an excuse to visit Wellington so I can pop in and swoon at the dresses myself.
