These beautiful images from Rachel Solomon (whose photography you may well remember from this breathtaking bridal shoot) draw us into a romantic vision of olde world elegance – with floral designs that evoke the Dutch masters, an inviting tablescape brimming with texture, the most impeccably styled bride & groom, and the Sunstone Winery for a backdrop; it is the epitome of modern vintage and thoroughly entrancing…..

Rachel is here to tell us a little more about the incredible venue for this Edwardian inspired shoot….. “Surrounded by sweeping views overlooking the Santa Ynez Mountains and the winery’s 55-acre estate, the Villa at Sunstone is an old world architectural masterpiece. Built from imported limestone from a small village in France, and wood beams and roof tiles reclaimed from a 19th century lavender factory, once owned by Queen Victoria, the Tuscan-inspired Villa boasts 8,500 square feet of luxury living space.

And I had the pleasure of staying overnight as part of the Kurt Boomer film photography workshop, and let me tell you it was one of the most luxurious experiences I’ve enjoyed!  The rooms were incredible, the bathrooms exquisite… I felt like I was staying in an old castle.  Such an amazing time and I can’t wait to go back!”
