Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons – Wedding Dresses
Whoop, whoop for the weekend ladies, not long to go now – get that Shiraz open and breathing! And what a week it has been! Starting with some Spring Wedding Inspiration in an alternative palette to the traditional pastels and pinks (what did you think?), more Spring wedding ideas with Mignonne Handmade‘s new beautiful Silk Spring Flower Crown collection, Wednesday’s Chic Vintage Bride was a fab royal from the swinging sixties (did you see her crown??) and yesterday ‘s 1940s inspired wedding was simply unforgettable, particularly the super romantic fine art photography by Taylor & Porter, oh and who could forget Saturday’s introduction to the charming keepsakes from Dazzling Dezignz…..see what I mean? I am definitely in need of a weekend. But before that of course…..
This week’s Snippets, Whispers & Ribbons is all about THE dress, with 5 of my faves from this week….which may suggest there could be a wedding dress I don’t love, but that quite simply isn’t the case – I haven’t yet come across a wedding dress I don’t adore or a bride who doesn’t look beautiful on her big day. It is simply that these dresses caught my eye this week, and here’s why….
1. For its elegant simplicity and slight Edwardian feel this dress from Rue De Seine – found on Magnolia Rouge
2. For its pretty illusion neckline (and the rest of it is just as exquisite) – from Manuel Mota featured in this elegant beach wedding inspiration shoot
3. For its delicate long lace sleeves this dress from Naomi Neoh‘s 2014 collection – found on One Fab Day
4. For being by Jenny Packham (as the designer I wore, her dresses always remind me of New Years Eve 2010) – from this colourful Beaulieu Garden wedding by Jose Villa
5. For its fabulous fishtail this Ines Di Santo dress – from the prettiest al fresco Santa Ynez Wedding by Jose Villa
Aaahh now could there be a prettier way to end the week?
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
